GSK: Cell & Gene Therapy Digital Platform
Worked with GSK’s clinical and product teams to design digital journey frameworks supporting the lifecycle of cell and gene therapy treatments—from patient enrollment through therapy administration and follow-up care. The work focused on simplifying complex clinical workflows while ensuring regulatory compliance and clear information flow for treatment teams.
Problem
Cell and gene therapies involve complex treatment workflows that span patient eligibility, manufacturing coordination, therapy administration, and long-term monitoring. These processes were often managed through fragmented systems, creating visibility gaps for clinicians and care coordinators.
Role
UX Architect responsible for designing the patient and clinician experience frameworks for the therapy lifecycle. Collaborated with clinical SMEs, product managers, and engineering teams.
Approach
The team mapped the end-to-end therapy lifecycle, identifying key interaction points between patients, clinicians, treatment coordinators, and manufacturing partners.
Workshops with clinical teams helped validate journey maps and ensure regulatory and operational considerations were incorporated into the platform design.
Solution
Developed a digital workflow framework that structured treatment processes into clear stages, allowing clinicians and coordinators to track patient progress, treatment preparation, and therapy administration through an integrated digital platform.
Impact
-
Improved visibility across treatment workflows for clinical teams
-
Simplified complex therapy processes through structured digital journeys
-
Reduced manual coordination between treatment stakeholders
